ITV The Chase fans plead 'what is this' over player's 'unusual' job

Fans of The Chase were confused as a player shared his "unusual" job.

Bradley Walsh returned to front Wednesday's edition of the popular ITV game show. The 62-year-old presenter welcomed four more players to test their wits against one of Britain's finest quiz brains.

Robert, Nina, Jack and Helen were competing against Darragh Ennis as they aimed to win a huge cash prize. Robert was in seat one and suprised viewers following the show on Twitter when he revealed he was a magician.

Fans were taken aback as they commented how a magician named Martin competed on yesterday's programme.

Andre said: "Didn't they have a magician on yesterday?"

Claire added: "Dot another magician."

Mace commented: "Robert is the second Magician in two days."

Brian posted: "What is this, magician season on"

Marriann tweeted: "We had a magician yesterday."

Robert built up £5,000 in an impressive cashbuilder but was swiftly eliminated by The Menace. Jack and Helen were the only two players to book their spot in the Final Chase.

They were competing for £10,000 and built up 16 steps in the last round. However, they left empty handed when Darragh caught them with 39 seconds remaining.
