Fans of The Chase have made a prediction for what contestants may hope for in the future amid the cost of living crisis.
Many players go on the show with hopes of winning a cash prize after testing their wits against one of five chasers. Host Bradley Walsh always asks each player about their plans for the money.
Popular answers tend to consist of travel plans, house renovations or new cars and gadgets. However, fans have predicted that this could change in future episodes.

Taking to Twitter, viewers joked that future players may want to spend any spare cash on energy bills and debts. It comes as the energy price cap is set to rise once more in October to more than £3,000.
Victoria said: "I hope a contestant says I need to pay the electric and gas bill when Brad asks what they’re going to use the money for #TheChase". Cliff said: "Bradley Walsh 'If you won what would you spend the money on?' Contestant 'well we've got a gas and electricity bill due...' #TheChase"
Dave said: "Quiz shows in the next 12 months. Quiz show host: And what will you do with they money? Contestant: I will be partially paying my energy bill and if there is any left I maybe able to treat the wife to a mouldy loaf."
Another user said: "What are you going to spend the money on if you win? This Series: Going to Barbados Next Series: Paying the gas bill #tippingpoing #TheChase."
