The Chase fans were ecstatic to see their favourite quiz master Darragh Ennis had returned.
Bradley Walsh welcomed another four hopefuls today ready to test their knowledge and take home a hefty cash prize. He kicked the show off by asking the players which chaser they wanted to take on but the return of a fan favourite left them all ecstatic.
The contestants each had a different preference - Anne, Mark, Shaun and Jenny - but Darragh "The Mennis" Ennis was at the helm of today's show. All four were pleasantly surprised and welcomed him to a small round of applause as he took his seat.

Long-term fans of the show exploded with excitement as Darragh only makes an appearance every once in a while. His rarity and warm demeanour catapulted him into being the show's favourite chaser despite only ever being in the seat every few weeks.
Sharing their joy online, one viewer said: "Wooo! Darragh!"
Another added: "Yay, it’s @bones_giles finally #TheChase Watch The Menace’s Twittersphere go wild!"
A third fan said: "I just came in time to witness @bones_giles in action!"
A final comment added: "Friday @bones_giles is the chaser... perfect #TheChase."
