Bradley Walsh called out The Chase over its "tricky" treatment of a Scouse player.
The presenter welcomed four new quizzers on Tuesday's edition of the popular game show. Daniel, Nicola, Bobbie and Adam were testing their wits against Paul Sinha in a bid to win a cash prize.
Daniel was first up and he built up an impressive £6,000 in his cash-builder. However, the 34-year-old selected the lower offer of £1,000 before he progressed past the Sinnerman to book his spot in the Final Chase.

The Chaser responded in style as he proceeded to eliminate Nicola and Bobbie from the last round. Adam was the final player on today's show and the 28-year-old hailed from Liverpool.
The train engineer lived in Crosby and wanted to use any winnings to renovate his garden. The player was disappointed as he built up £3,000 in his cash-builder.
However, Bradley stepped in to defend the player as he insisted Adam had been dealt a "tricky" hand. He said: "I've got to be honest, I thought they were tricky questions.
"How old are you? There's a lot of questions out of your remit. Even at 28, there was a lot from the 50s and 60s". The Chaser agreed with Bradley's assessment.
Paul added: "You have my sympathy because they were some really rough questions." Adam surprised his teammate when he opted to go for the higher offer of £59,000.
However, he was swiftly eliminated by The Chaser after two questions. Daniel built up 13 steps in the Final Chase, but he was caught by The Sinnerman with 46 seconds remaining.
