ITV Saturday Night Takeaway viewers spot concerned Ant's warning after they were left 'worried'

Ant McPartlin's warning on Saturday Night Takeaway didn't go unnoticed as he and co-host Dec Donnelly returned with the 'happiest 90 minutes of the week'. The Geordie duo were back live on their hit ITV show on Saturday night (March 25) when they kicked proceedings off with an announcement.

Ant and Dec halted their entertainment show to bring news of another programme they are well known for fronting - I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. They revealed that the hit ITV reality programme will be returning to screens NEXT MONTH but not quite as we know it.

The award-winning presenters announced the first group of celebrities taking part in the launch episode of I'm A Celebrity...South Africa, an all-stars edition of the long-running show which will see the return of some of the most memorable campmates from over the years in the new setting of South Africa instead of Australia.

Minutes into the latest episode of family entertainment show Saturday Night Takeaway, Ant and Dec revealed the line-up on a big screen. They are boxing champion Amir Khan from Bolton, Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan, the Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder, Diversity dancer and DJ Jordan Banjo, TV presenter Carol Vorderman, Olympic legend Fatima Whitbread, former royal butler Paul Burrell, ex-England cricketer Phil Tufnell and supermodel Janice Dickinson.

The stars then took part in an I'm A Celebrity special of the game Read My Lips, which sees members of the audience compete to win a place on the plane to Orlando Universal Resort in Florida. Later Ant and Dec showed a trailer for the new series airing next month. There will be more celebrities taking part in the series but viewers will have to watch to find out who they are and when they will enter camp.

Shortly after that, it was time for more fun and games with the 'happiest minute of the week', which always falls in part two of Saturday Night Takeaway, as more audience members and viewers watching at home were given a place on the plane which will be jetting off in just over a week's time.

The segment sees some of Universal's best-loved characters join Ant and Dec on stage and Ant was quick to offer a warning to one regular star on the series on Saturday night. Shrek made a comeback to the show after missing last week's episode, following an awkward tumble off the stage.

As they were leaving the studio, Shrek was spotted falling down to the lower ground as the other characters filtered out. Fans of the show were then left concerned last weekend when he didn't seem to appear on stage as normal and while it may have been a coincidence, they were relieved to see him back this weekend.

As Shrek wandered around the stage, viewers heard Ant saying: "Take care Shrek. Shrek, watch yourself, watch yourself on the stairs." And they were soon taking to Twitter in amusement as they realised it was a reference to Shrek's fall earlier on in the series. @EnfieldGarry tweeted: "'Be careful Shrek' they know haha. #SaturdayNightTakeaway," with a string of crying laughing emojis.
