There are three chances to appear in the new series of Vera, after a casting call appeared on Facebook for roles in the new series of the smash hit itv drama.
Since it launched back in 2011, Vera has been one of the broadcaster's most successful dramas, pulling in millions of viewers for each new series, with 12 runs of Vera now in the bag. And a 13th is definitely happening, having been confirmed by ITV and residents in Hexham receiving notice that the cast and crew would be soon descending on the Northumberland for filming.
A number of changes to personnel for Vera's next run have already been announced, with Kenny Doughty quitting his role as DS Aiden Healy after eight years and Ibinabo Jack following him out the door to focus on theatre commitments.
