ITV quiz shows Lingo and Tipping Point have both been cancelled to accommodate Grand National coverage on ITV.
For the second day in a row, ITV has had to axe two of its biggest game shows, Tipping Point and Lingo. Both shows see contestants go through multiple rounds of questioning in order to win a cash prize.
Linguistics show Lingo pits teams against each other to guess a hidden word with only the starting letter as a clue, with other letters hopefully opening up as time goes on. Tipping Point on the other hand challenges players with a larger than life coin drop machine in order to rack up money.

Yesterday, ITV cancelled the quiz shows in order to make way for the first day of their Grand National coverage and will continue to do so today. Lingo and Tipping Point will both be back to their regular schedules from April 11.
Kicking off today at 1:45pm, Grand National coverage continues with five races, including the 3.30 Marsh Chase and 4.05 Topham Chase. With analysis from AP McCoy, Mick Fitzgerald and Ruby Walsh, reports by Alice Plunkett, Oli Bell, Matt Chapman and Luke Harvey, social stable news with Chris Hughes, betting updates from Brian Gleeson, and commentary by Richard Hoiles.
Today is the most glamourous event on the racing calendar - Ladies Day in Aintree. The Grand National will take place tomorrow evening at 5:15pm.
