Phillip Schofield was taken aback as he gave a behind the scenes insight into his interview with Tom Cruise.
The 60-year-old broadcaster chatted to the Hollywood icon as part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations last night. Phil fronted today's edition of This Morning alongside Holly Willoughby and opened up on his hosting stint.
He praised the Top Gun star as a "class act" but revealed he caused police chaos when he flounced protocol to walk to the glitzy bash . He said: “He caused absolute chaos in Windsor because he decided to walk to the studio.

“So the police then obviously had to do serious crowd control at the drop of a hat, but he met everybody.” Phil hailed Tom for how generous he was with with his time.
He said: “When he did our interview he then went downstairs and met everybody, went into rooms to meet people and made proper eye contact." Phil posed for a selfie with Tom after the interview and Holly gushed with pride as the ITV programme cut to show the snap.
She said: "Look at those two handsome fellas. That’s a great photo.”
