After weeks ands weeks of adverts teasing its arrival on screen, on Monday night, ITV viewers will get a first look at new drama Maryland and there's a few familiar faces to look out for, including a Grease legend.
Launching just a night after much talked about medical drama Malpractice finished, Maryland is the story of two sisters who are forced together after years of having a strained relationship, when their mother’s body is discovered on the Isle of Man reunites them. Arriving in a place they have never visited and with no idea why their mother was there, the sisters begin to unravel the long-held secrets of a woman they thought they knew, whilst keeping their own secrets from each other.
Confined on the island and forced to face the life-changing consequences of their mother’s decisions, can Becca and Rosaline learn to love and respect one another all over again?

Suranne Jones, former Coronation Street star and the actress famous for roles in the likes of Gentleman Jack, Doctor Foster and Vigil leads the Maryland cast, but ITV viewers are sure to recognise a few others as well including Grease legend Stockard Channing.
