Love Island will be 'reviewed' by ITV after this year's final, as more Ofcom complaints flood in.
The last episode of the hit dating show's current series is now just a few days away, with Davide and Ekin-Su hot favourites to win., But, while the final result is proving to be a big talking point amongst fans, the programme is attracting a growing number of complaints to the broadcasting regulator.
The first major number of grievances for Love Island 2022 came as result of Davide kissing Gemma Owen in an early episode, with viewers condemning the eight year age gap between the Italian and Michael Owen's daughter. Complaints then went through the roof in the aftermath of the contentious episode that aired on Sunday, July 17, when viewers took exception to the 'misogynistic' behaviour from the boys, particularly Luca during the fallout from Movie Night.
