It was on, then it was off. Lorraine Kelly had to do some swift readjusting to her outfit during her self titled show on Wednesday, November 2. According to one report, viewers contacted the show to inform her that she had suffered a wardrobe 'malfunction.'
ITV's Lorraine was back on TV this week after having some time off air for a half term break. For the episode, she was joined by Married at First Sight's Paul C. Brunson and her ITV colleague Ben Shephard. However, it was during a segment with Paul that the mishap occurred.
Paul, who is also an expert on Celebs Go Dating, was chatting to Lorraine during the show's 'Relationship Clinic'. Talking about appreciating others the section of the show was titled 'How to reawaken your relationship". Lorraine and Paul were gong through different tips and advice, including highlighting that couples should share at least one, six second kiss every day.

Watching the show, Chronicle Live reported that while Lorraine was completely oblivious to her 'malfunction,' fans tuning in at home first clocked something was wrong when the poppy the host was wearing disappeared out of view. What made it more obvious was that Paul was still wearing his. In one shot it was there, in the next it was gone.
Traditionally, the poppy is worn from the last Friday in October until the end of the day on November 11 - Remembrance day. TV presenters and those in the public eye usually sport the items as soon as the Remembrance period begins, as do many Brits.
Lorraine clocked that her poppy had dropped off as she was ending the interview and thanking Paul for coming on the show. After, presumably getting word in her ear piece, she reached down to the ground to retrieve the poppy and hastily re-attached it, saying: "I've just realised my poppy has fallen off. There it is! See, I didn't want to make a hole in my pleather, so I stuck it on and it fell off."
She added: "Thank you for letting me know," before moving proceedings on to discuss what was coming up on the rest of the show. On social media, viewers spotted the re-adjustment before Lorraine was alerted to it. "Wish she would concentrate on getting her poppy right", commented one viewer.
