Kate Garraway has warmed fans' hearts with a photo of herself and husband Derek Draper, three years on from his life hanging in the balance due to coronavirus.
As the country went into lockdown back in March 2020, Kate and her family faced an incredibly worrying time, when Derek was taken into hospital after experiencing nasty Covid related symptoms, before being put into a medically induced coma as he condition took a grave turn for the worse.
Separated from Good Morning Britain presenter Kate and the couples children for months on end as he fought for life, with them unable to go and see him; unlike many others, Derek did come through the other end, but Kate was told he was one of the worst affected survivors of the virus, with his body and organs massively impacted by his health battle.

And the picture quickly gathered a big reaction from Kate's Instagram followers, including VIcky Pattison, who responded: "Derek looks amazing," and Kate's ITV colleague, Susanna Reid, who wrote: "Everything about this is gorgeous."
A fan commented: "Literally a 'wow moment' Derek looks amazing! Absolutely priceless pic of you all, but so amazing to have you both at the forefront."
