ITV's I'm A Celebrity 2022: Full line-up confirmed as fans prepare for new series

The wait is over - I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! bosses have finally revealed who will be taking part in the show when it returns next month.

Former Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles, Love Island's Olivia Attwood were already snapped arriving in Australia this week - and it has now been revealed music icon Boy George and Hollyoaks star Owen Warner are among the big names taking part.

Joining the foursome will be Gogglebox 's Babatunde Aleshe, Loose Women's Charlene White, Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver, Mike Tindall, Lioness Jill Scott, Scarlette Douglas and comedian Seann Walsh.

The confirmation of this year's contestants comes after the show's hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly arrived in Australia earlier this week with their families, ahead of the show premiering on Sunday, November 6, at 9pm.

Boy George, 61, is said to have secured the highest pay cheque in the show's history – with ITV bosses reportedly excited to have signed the star.

An ITV source said bosses have "no doubt" Boy George will "draw in viewers" due to his staus as a global superstar.

The Culture Club star is also said to be "hugely popular" in Australia, which makes him the "perfect addition" as the show heads back Down Under.

Meanwhile Mike, who is married to Zara Tindall, may be making history as the first every royal to appear on the ITV show but he won't eclipse Boy George's pay packet, it's been predicted.

"Mike would be a huge coup for I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" PR expert Daniel Hughes, founder of ThisGeneration, told the Mirror.

"Not only is he a former rugby star with a bunch of anecdotes from his time on the pitch, he's a member of the Royal Family! He'll likely stay exceptionally loyal to The Firm during his time on the show but that won't stop viewers tuning in each night to see if he shares any juicy stories about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

"Although Mike is a royal with a huge appeal, Boy George is a global pop star with dedicated fans across the globe. I would expect Mike to receive between £500,000 to £700,000 to appear on the show - certainly a healthy pay packet."

Fresh from winning the Euros earlier this year with England, Lioness Jill Scott was the fifth celebrity to arrive earlier this morning.

She was asked what would be more nerve wracking, the Euros final or the jungle and she said: "That is a very good question but I don't think anything will test my nerves as much as that final."

Comedian Seann Walsh's last stint on reality TV hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons back in 2018, after he was caught sharing a kiss with his then-married Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones.

The comedian was also in a long-term relationship with actress Rebecca Humphries, who he lived with at the time, while Katya was married to fellow Strictly professional dance Neil Jones.

Seann's career suffered following the scandal but four years on the extra-marital kiss could turn out to boost his bank balance, as the stand-up comedian is set for a lucrative stint on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

ITV bosses reportedly hope that the funnyman could open up during the long days in camp when the show returns to the Australian rainforest for the first time in three years.

A source previously told The Sun: "Seann is an incredible signing for I'm A Celebrity and it’s a real coup for ITV. His snog with Katya is the biggest scandal to have ever hit Strictly. People still talk about it.

"Life in the jungle is boring and those long hours around the campfire would be the perfect time for Seann to get talking. He can’t shy away from it either as he’s best known for that snog. It’s unlikely his campmates won’t bring it up."
