The ITV drama Doc Martin is coming to an end after 10 series. The drama follows the life of the grumpy and lovable Cornish GP Dr Martin Ellingham who has a brusque bedside manner and a phobia of blood.
Set in the idyllic seaside village of Portwenn Doc Martin, who is played by Martin Clunes, has found love and a home in the village. The last series ended with Doc Martin resigning from his role as Portwenn's GP due to his phobia of blood.
This final series sees the doc making efforts to overcome his phobia and beginning to question whether he made the right decision about resigning. He and Louisa have also welcomed a baby daughter, Mary Elizabeth, who is a sister for four-year-old James Henry. The new series begins on Wednesday, September 7, at 9pm on ITV and you can read everything we know about it here.
