ITV's Big Brother hosts confirmed as AJ Odudu and Will Best as show gets set for relaunch

After loads of speculation, the hosts of Big Brother have been confirmed as AJ Odudu and Will Best, with AJ's new job coming just months after she gave a rather 'obvious' hint she was in the frame to get it.

There was widespread surprise and excitement when ITV dropped the bombshell that it had picked up the rights to Big Brother with a very small teaser during last year's Love Island final, immediately sparking predictions on who would be the host for the reboot. Davina McCall was quickly ruled out as fans put forward the likes of Rylan Clark and Alison Hammond for the role.

But AJ, who reached the Strictly final in 2021 before a crushing injury blow forced her to withdraw with just days to go, dropped a massive clue it might be her, when she fronted the Eurovision semi draw live from Liverpool in February, alongside Rylan.

As she got ready to pick out another country from the bowl in front of her, she quipped: "Fancy another one?" a clear nod to a famous catchphrase coined by Davina during Big Brother launch nights and evictions back in the show's hey day on Channel 4.

The Northern star is over the moon to get the Big Brother presenting gig and exclaimed: "AJ said: “I’m so excited to finally be able to say that, yes: I’m hosting Big Brother! I couldn't be happier. Following in the footsteps of some of my favourite broadcasting legends to front such an iconic show is an absolute honour - and to do it alongside my amazing friend Will is the icing on the cake.”

Will has plenty of presenting experience himself, having hosted Dance, Dance, Dance for ITV, as well as numerous other shows for the channel, as well as being part of the T$ team.

Like AJ, he is delighted to be doing Big Brother, saying: "I grew up with Big Brother so getting a chance to host it with my mate AJ is a dream come true. I can't wait to tell some housemates not to swear.”
