ITV's Ant and Dec confirm swift return for another show after epic Saturday Night Takeaway finale

Ant and Dec won't be away from primetime TV for long, as they had some big news for fans about another one of their shows, at the end of an epic Saturday Night Takeaway finale.

The Geordie hosts took their colleagues from their ITV programme over to Florida this week, along with hundreds of lucky Place on a Plane winners, for a 90 minute spectacular that saw Takeaway take over Islands of Adventure in Orlando.

Ant and Dec were joined by star guest Nicole Scherzinger for the series finale, which saw Ant lose to Dec in the last Ant vs Dec of this year and Stephen Mulhern take a tumble as he oversaw the challenge.

The live show also saw Ant and Dec show off their vocals in the opening and closing numbers; with the Dancing in the Streets finale also featuring Nicole, Fleur East and Jordan North.

The ITV presenters looked delighted at the response they got from their packed audience as the song ended. And, after thanking their guests, who also included Teenage Dirtbag band Wheatus, they had an announcement to make about when they'd be back on screen.

The good news for fans is that they won't have to wait long at all to see Ant and Dec on hosting duty again, as they confirmed that the new series of Britain's Got Talent will be back next weekend, Saturday, April 15.

And, if you can't wait until then, the even better news is that Ant and Dec will be back on screen on Sunday night in a behind the scenes special of Saturday Night Takeaway.
