ITV Real Housewives star on being back in front of cameras just two weeks after giving birth and why this series is set to be best yet

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Hanna Kinsella has returned to the glamorous line-up for the ITVBe reality show which is back on our screens later this month - and she'll be bringing with her a brand new member of the cast. Proud mum Hanna will introduce her adorable baby girl Kimia in the 15th series of the show, which follows the lives of glamorous women living in Cheshire.

During the 14th series Hanna discovered on camera that she was expecting her second child with anti-ageing doctor Martin Kinsella. Their son Max, born in February last year, was just eight months old when cosmetic dentist Hanna, 34, found out she was pregnant during a girls' trip to Edinburgh. The news came as a shock to Hanna who had thought that she was just feeling under the weather after having a Covid jab.

Hanna was heavily pregnant when filming started again earlier this year and baby Kimia, who was born by planned caesarean at Wythenshawe Hospital in May, will feature in the new series. She previously told how she did a pregnancy test smuggled into their hotel between two packets of crisps by her friend and co-star Rachel Lugo.

But the crew got wind of it and asked Hanna if they could film her taking the test with Rachel for support. Convinced that it would come back negative, she agreed.

"The birth was fine. It was a lot better than the birth with Max," she said. "It was very planned. The last time it was an attempted natural birth but because of complications he was born by emergency caesarean." And Max is doting on his little sister. She said: "Max is great with her. We've all started calling her 'Kimi' now and he says 'Mimi, Mimi.' He is so gentle with her."

Hanna, who has shared her wedding day in 2019 and pregnancy journeys on the ITV2 reality show since she joined the cast four years ago, assures that after her baby bombshell in the previous series there won't be any surprise announcements this time around. "Not from me," she chuckled. "I feel like for the last two years I've been pregnant."

But she says the 15th series is set to be one of the best yet with drama right from the start. "It's been a really good series," she told us "It feels more modern and lot fresher. It's been very modernised with the music and the way it's filmed. It feels more fly on the wall and a lot more natural."

She added: "There is loads of drama. Where it usually builds up there is drama from the get-go. It is jam-packed." Hanna was filming two weeks after giving birth to Kimia and she enjoyed being back in front of the cameras.

"I found filming quite nice after having the babies. It's a chance to put makeup on and feel better. You can lose yourself but with me because I've thrown myself back into work work so quickly I've never lost myself. And it's nice for the kids because they're used to being around people and they're not shy."

This series viewers will meet a new Housewife, mother of one Katie Alex. Hanna and Katie, an aesthetics nurse who owns Katie Alex Aesthetics in Altrincham, specialising in non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation, have bonded as the youngest members of the cast and as young mums and professionals. "She is fabulous," said Hanna. "Martin already knew her because of what she does and I knew her through Martin."

he newcomer arrives with a bang and soon finds herself in the middle of the drama as she falls under the scrutiny of the group. There are shockwaves as it's revealed that Katie’s husband Mason was fellow Housewife Lauren’s first love.

The 15th series will also feature a girlie trip to Malta, dating after divorce, relationship dynamics, parenting, building business empires, health hurdles, husbands and boyfriends as well as dealing with the menopause.
