Love Island viewers were surprised by Davide Sanclimenti's decision to pair up with Antigoni Buxton despite previously kissing Danica Taylor.
The 27-year-old Italian made his choice during Friday's (June 24) recoupling, the fourth of the series. He was left single after Luca Bish stole Gemma Owen from him moments earlier.
Davide and Danica privately shared a 10-second kiss on Thursday. At the time, he said in the beach hut: "I felt Danica was completely into Davide and so I wanted to give her a gift. That's why the kiss".
