Four Love Island contestants were sent packing on Thursday night (March 2) after a shock double dumping. Wednesday night's episode (March 1) saw the islanders enjoy a day out at the beach club before they were surprised by host Maya Jama.
The 28-year-old presenter made a return to South Africa to deliver the news that that the couple with the fewest votes from the public would be at risk of being dumped. After announcing that Olivia and Maxwell, Shaq and Tanya, Claudia and Keanan and Rosie and Casey were each in the bottom four, it was Olivia and Maxwell who voted out as the 'least compatible' couple.
But the drama didn't stop there as Maya then revealed a plot twist which saw dumped islanders Olivia and Maxwell get to choose a couple who would also be leaving with them. The vulnerable contestants' fate was then left in the hands of the pair as they decided who would be leaving.

Thursday's episode began with Olivia and Maxwell speaking in private as they discussed each of the couples and deliberated their reasons for keeping them in or sending them home.
"This is stressful," Olivia, 27, said as she and Maxwell took a seat.
Speaking of her fellow islanders, Olivia said: "I think compatibility wise Casey is more suited to Rosie than Claudia."
Discussing Claudia and Keanan, who were in a couple after Claudia's love interest Casey recoupled with new bombshell Rosie, Olivia said: "Keenan and Claudia, I think we all know that is just friendship."
Before revealing their decision to the remaining contestants, Olivia said: "This has been a really difficult decision for both of us. There are so many options we could have gone for."
Viewers quickly picked up on Olivia's comment and took to Twitter to air their thoughts.
@Rudz25 said: "She fully enjoyed that, about "so many options"."
@kenny__xa tweeted: "So many options huh ?????? as @beerthiefx added: “"So many options” GIRL IS SO EFFING SMUG."
It was then revealed that Olivia and Maxwell had chosen to dump Claudia and Keanan, but viewers believed that wasn't down to compatible, but because of an argument between the girls that happened the previous day.
Olivia was accused of stirring the pot after calling Jessie's actions 'questionable' and alluding to the fact she was 'fake'. Claudia was seen to be sticking up for her friend Jessie throughout the conflict.
After the decision was made to send Claudia packing, @ayatseid tweeted: "Olivia is getting rid of Claudia because she called her out on the Jessie is fake comment and she felt exposed."
@PAK789349607 said: "Pretty sure the reason why Olivia got Claudia and Keenan out (let's be honest Maxwell did not have a say) was because Claudia was in the trio with Jessie and Sammie that stood up to her.."
@vxictoriaa added: "Getting rid of Claudia was so targeted by Olivia," as @hoeptumaini agreed: "Olivia sent Claudia home for personal reasons."
