The latest season of Love Island is well underway and Islander Gemma Owen has become the talk of the ITV2 show. The 19-year-old, paired with Luca, was first coupled up with Liam - who later walked - and then Davide - sparking concern over their almost 10-year age gap.
Her ex Jacques has also now joined the Spanish villa, however they have managed to keep the fact Gemma has a famous father under wraps from the other islanders. However, it's no secret to the outside world that her dad is England and Liverpool football star Michael Owen.
In the show, the professional dressage rider has said she lives in Chester with her family - with space for her 12 horses. She actually lives on the Wales/England border in Flintshire, in a sprawling Grade II manor house known as Lower Soughton Hall.

Gemma lives there with dad Michael, mum Louise, and three younger siblings, James, 16, Emily, 14, and Jessica, 12. The mansion is located in the small village of Northop, which couldn't be farther removed from the glitz of the Love Island villa, CheshireLive reports.
The family snapped up the property in 2001 and in 2019, shared a glimpse inside during an episode of Keith Lemon’s Through the Keyhole on ITV. Host Keith said the mansion, which is worth an estimated £4m and is nestled among 42 acres of countryside, was one of the most impressive houses he'd ever seen on the show.
The enormous home comes complete with a cinema room and indoor pool. It boasts traditional decor, with ornate fireplaces, leather sofas, and wooden panelling - giving a members’ club feel.
The quaint village, called Llaneurgain in Welsh, has a population of around 3,000 people and has two pubs. There is a large golf club and a cricket club.
A central feature is the Grade-I listed St Eurgain and St Peter's Church, which dates back to the 13th century, though it is not clear how much of the original structure survives. There is also evidence of a church on the site as far back as the 6th century, the very early days of Christianity in Britain.
One group who has put the tiny community on the map is the Northop Silver Band. This brass band have played at venues including the Royal Albert Hall in London.
The Owens live a short distance from the village centre, which is only 12 miles from Chester, across the border. People travelling to the village can hardly miss a grandiose set of electric gates designed to keep intruders away from the former England star's home.
