ITV Love Island's Luca Bish storms out of villa after Gemma Owen confronts him

Luca Bish stormed out of the Love Island villa in a mood on tonight's episode.

Tensions had been rising between the fishmonger and his partner Gemma Owen throughout the show. Speaking to Luca after the talent show, Gemma told him she thought he looked 'cute' rather than sexy. The following morning when lying in bed, Luca said he wanted to kiss her and Gemma replied: "God loves a trier" as she refused his advances.

But things came to a nasty head as they had a heated argument leading to him swearing at her and storming out. It came after Luca overreacted to a challenge which saw the islanders vote for which of the girls made the sexiest performance.

During the Mile High Challenge, turbulence took hold as Gemma licked Adam across the chest. Luca was in the Beach Hut saying he didn't want to see her licking other men, despite it being a part of the game. When it came to Gemma trying to be sexy for him he shoved her away in a jokey manner.

The other islanders picked up on the behaviour as Ekin-Su said: "Was it just me or was Luca being weird?" Gemma agreed as she said: "It's really not that deep but if he's going to be a pr*** over it then he can do one." Tasha added: "He needs to stop sulking."

Later Luca pulled Gemma for a chat as he asked her what was wrong. She accused him of being in a mood and he denied it so she confronted him about pushing her during the challenge. He passed it off as 'banter' but Gemma still wasn't happy.

The fishmonger soon admitted to her that he didn't like what he saw as he ended up swearing at her and storming off. Ekin asked what happened as Gemma said: "He's just lost his head." He went on to throw his mic off and left the villa as he told Gemma that he "couldn't be a*****."

Fans on Twitter also called out Luca's behaviour. One user said: "Luca isn't protective he's controlling #loveisland."

Demi said: "So it’s okay for Luca to be 'gassed' over Paige being all over him but if Gemma does the same thing to another boy, suddenly it’s a massive deal? Nah get Luca out ASAP the double standards are laughable #loveisland." Meanwhile, another user said: "Gemma and Luca will not work on the outside if he carries on acting as he is because she would have no freedom whatsoever #loveisland."

Luca later returned but the couple refused to speak to each other as the drama continued. Dami accused both of them of being stubborn and said they both have valid points and feelings as he encouraged Luca to pull her for a chat.
