Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has shared a huge update on her relationship with Davide Sanclimenti despite them currently being apart. The Turkish actress made a solo appearance on ITV's Lorraine on Monday morning (August 15). She spoke to Christine Lampard about her post-villa experience and relationship with the self-proclaimed 'Italian snack'.
Ekin-Su, 27, had spent a 'wholesome' weekend at home in Essex, enjoying a BBQ in the sun with friends, before heading back to London on Sunday night to prepare for her interview this morning. While relaxing in bed in pink striped pyjamas, the reality star shared her thanks to her newfound fans and followers.
She said she was 'overwhelmed' by the love she had received since the ITV2 dating show as she attempted to go through her messages one by one while attempting to reply to those who have been supporting her while in the villa and since leaving just a couple of weeks ago.
And speaking to Christine, Ekin-Su had a positive update to share with 'Ekinde' fans. "We’ve decided that we are moving in together - it’s confirmed, it’s official!" she exclaimed. "We’re gonna be quite busy with other things in September, so we’re going to move in together in Essex, where I'm from."
Ekin-Su added that they decided on Essex as it's close to London but still has a nice "bit of countryside". She also spoke about her and Davide's upcoming TV show, which will see them traveling to Italy and Turkey together. She said: "It will be Davide and Ekin-Su take over Italy and Turkey.
"It will be a week in Turkey, a week in Italy, meeting the family, cooking traditional food and touring where we're from." Ekin-Su added: "It will be us being us. There may be some crazy moments, naturally."
But Ekin-Su also shared how she had to be visited by medics while in the Mallorcan villa - due to one of the show's biggest yearly twists. Referring to the second villa Casa Amor which caused chaos for the islanders, Christine said: "It's like Casa Amor, for some reason it's like the Islanders forget the cameras are there the second Casa Amor starts!"
"I know, because they're so hidden these cameras. You don't know where they are, you can't pretend or act on there. If you were to act, it would happen for two days and then your mask would fall off! Then you're yourself!" Ekin-Su then revealed: "In Casa Amor, obviously there was a moment... I don't know...
"I'm gonna say this, medics came, I was having a mini panic attack because I was like, 'oh no what's Davide doing in Casa Amor? Is he with someone else?' And the medics were like, 'Ekin it's fine, just relax, what's meant to be will be'. And you know, it all worked."
