ITV Love Island's Dami Hope responds to viewers over 'moody' claims as he shares how he really felt about reunion

They had only been away from our screens for less than a week but the finalists of Love Island 2022 were reunited for a special 90-minute episode on Sunday night (August 7). The ITV2 dating show's host Laura Whitmore led the programme's reunion after the eighth series of the hit ITV2 dating show concluded last Monday evening (August 1).

The final saw Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti crowned the winning couple and saw them receive the £50,000 prize. Gemma Owen and Luca Bish finished the show in second place, ahead of Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack and Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page in third and fourth position.

After the finale, ITV revealed Ekin-Su and Davide had been the clear winners of the public vote with 63.7%. While Gemma and Luca secured 14.5%, Indiyah and Dami came third with 11.8%, and Tasha and Andrew scored 10.1%.

But as the finalists were brought back together, viewers couldn't help but clock Dami's 'moody' appearance at the pre-recorded reunion. Laura opened the episode by asking the four couples how they were doing to which a fed-up-looking Dami said he was feeling "tired".

Later on in the Reunion, Laura spoke to Dami and Indiyah about life since leaving the villa and she asked them if they were still waking up in bed together. "So you're still next to each other when you wake up?" the presenter said, as Indiyah quickly replied: "Yeah, of course."

Dami then said bluntly: "Well, where else would we be?" to which Laura responded: "Okay just checking, just checking!" before moving on. But fans had already been flocking to social media to comment on Dami's 'mood'.
