Love Island star Adam Collard has shared a very different video as ex Islander Jacques O'Neill took aim at his relationship with his ex Paige Thorne in a live Instagram Q&A on Sunday. In a candid chat with fellow Islander Luca Bish former rugby player Jacques read out and answered fan questions.
Jacques, who quit the ITV2 reality show for his mental health shortly after Adam arrived in the famous villa in Mallorca and made it clear he was interested in Paige, was asked what he thought of the couple. And he referred to the awkward Meet the Parents episode when Paige asked her mum what she thought of Adam. After a long pause her mum said: "I'm not buying it."
Giving his opinion on their relationship Jacques said: "They seem like they get on really, really well." But he added sarcastically: "Her mum seems really fond of Adam so yeah. I'm sure the Sunday dinner will go really well."

Over on Adam's Instagram things appear to be going from strength to strength for the couple, who came fifth in the dating contest. He shared a video of himself nuzzling and kissing Paige's face as she beamed.
And on Monday Adam posted a snap of himself holding an ice cream as he visited her home city Swansea. Asked if he had spoken to his ex since the show ended a week ago Jacques replied: "No I haven't. That was short and sweet wasn't it. No I haven't simple as that."
Jacques, 23, had just been through a rocky time with paramedic Paige, 24, after he kissed bombshell arrival Cheyanne Kerr during the Casa Amor relationship test, and was rattled by the arrival of hunky Adam, 26. He told The Sun after his departure: “I thought if I don’t get myself out things could go horribly wrong and I could get physical.
He added: "At home you can remove yourself from situations, but in there you had to deal with every situation. And in that moment I took my microphone off, and walked straight through the front doors because I just wanted to get out of that place."
Jacques previously said he 'couldn’t cope' on the show, which pairs-up singles in the sunshine with the winning couple scooping £50,000, and said doing Love Island was the "worst decision of my life.” He recalled: “I was ready to break down. I was feeling so mentally drained, I just wanted to go home and get myself right."
In the Meet the Parents episode Paige's mum explained: "The way you were with Jacques you were a lot more you and bouncy and full of life and personality. With Adam it just seems a lot different."
And Paige told her: "He did bring out a different side of me, bubbly and laughing. But there were some bits that were really not okay. With Adam he's so much more chilled out and down to earth."
Speaking to Love Island host Laura Whitmore on the spin-off show Aftersun Jacques said he had told Paige 'to crack on' after he left. "I said crack on just like I did in Casa. She needs to explore like I did," he explained.
"I said 'you do what you need to do' and she's doing that so good on her." But he added about their relationship: "We had a good connection and we really got on and I did see things working on the outside between us."
