Love Island fans have made their feelings clear about Adam Collard over a week after he entered the villa for a second time. Viewers of the ITV2 dating show were stunned when the former islander returned to Mallorca in a dramatic twist.
The 26-year-old personal trainer was previously a contestant on Love Island's fourth series in 2018 - and it's fair to say it was a memorable time. Four years ago, Adam entered the villa on day one and coupled up with Kendall Knight. However, he quickly dumped her for Rosie Williams.
He went on to couple up with Zara McDermott, before his head was turned once again in Casa Amor to Darylle Sargeant. However, Adam and Zara actually got back together and had a relationship in the outside world but split after eight months. Speaking ahead of his arrival in the villa earlier this month Adam said: “I’m going to ruffle a few feathers when I go in.”

But Love Island viewers feel like they've been let down as during Thursday night's episode (July 21), they watched as Adam pulled Paige, who he has been coupled up with since her former partner Jacques O'Neill quit the villa, aside for a chat about his date with new bombshell Nathalia.
Paige had been rattled by the arrival of two new girls, and two new boys, into the villa and was seen confiding in fellow islander Gemma Owen. During the tearful exchange, Paige told Gemma: "Adam came in and I feel like from the start it has almost been a bit too good to be true. Surely like it’s not just going to be this easy, I just know it’s not. It never is for me, it hasn’t been in here for me at all. So why would this be any different?"
But as the latest episode drew to a close, Adam was seen reassuring the Welsh paramedic that he was only interested in her and wanted to make their relationship "exclusive". He told Paige: "I don’t want to put any pressure on this situation, but at the same time, I’ve had the best time with you and I still have the best time every single day…
"When I came away from the date, I was just like, I want to be 100% closed off. I’m not actually bothered about getting to know anyone else. You’re the only person that I can say I can see this actually working with." He added: "I hate the word exclusive, but I want to use it as well, because that’s the way I feel right now and I don’t see that changing."
Paige shared her delight in the beach hut, saying: "Now can we just appreciate everything I’ve been through in here. This is what I’ve been waiting for. It’s about damn time! I’m so excited."
But viewers flocked to social media to share their disapproval of Adam. @Nneddy121 tweeted: "Ugh Adam can you start bombshelling again. You’re so dry now. #LoveIsland." @lover99911_ said: "I'M CONFUSED why did they bring Adam back the drama is caused is not dramaing pls you and miss honey buns can pls leave #LoveIsland."
@MsIcyyy asked: "Adam Collard is not bombshelling as he should be bombshelling so what is the point of bringing him in Love Island the second time??? #LoveIsland." @abbie_tweeted echoed: "What was the thought process of bringing Adam Collard back as a hopeless romantic type this is not bombshelling the way this bombshell should have done #loveisland." @Perrie84318204 added: "Adam you’re so boring now. You’re meant to be a bombshell and you’re just not shelling #LoveIsland."
