Friday night's Love Island saw the long-awaited return of one of the show's most popular segments and there was perhaps more drama than anticipated. The glam evening dubbed 'Movie Night' sees the Islanders glam up to watch a collection of unseen moments from the villa.
As the participants answered trivia questions the group that answered correctly were allowed to choose a clip from a list of movie titles as they nervously munched on buckets of popcorn. The quiz made for uncomfortable viewing as two Islanders were placed under scrutiny to kick off with.
In a clip titled I Know What Ekin-Su Did Last Summer Davide Sanclimenti was left fuming after discovering that his partner in the villa Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu had shared a bed with another boy while she was away on a girls' trip to neighbouring Casa Amor.

Davide, who has been building up his trust in Ekin-Su after she cheated on him with Jay Younger earlier in the series, was less than impressed after seeing them together under the sheets. The actress insisted that nothing had gone on but Davide branded her a 'liar.'
The boys' team then chose to view a clip entitled She's Just Not That Into You after getting their second question correct. Their next movie featured two clips of Gemma Owen who is coupled with Luca Bish after the couple had just said they loved each other.
The first uncomfortable clip, captured from a chat last month, showed her agreeing with Dami Hope's 'prediction' that her head could still be turned by someone else if they were the right person. The second showed Billy Brown slinging his arm around her while Luca watched on from a beanbags
Gemma told him "friends can't hug" as he asked if he could feed her, and she warningly pointed out the positioning of the bean bag. And Luca was left upset by the cheeky chat.
He fumed at Billy: You were f***ing cracking on with her. Mate, that was f***ing flirting, don't deny it." As Billy tried to deny it, Luca hit back: "I don't care, you can crack on, it's Love Island but it was flirting and I was made out to be a f***ing idiot for it!"
Turning to pals Dami and Andrew Le Page, Luca whispered: "I can't stand f***ing liars. I got made out to be overprotective or whatever, mate I saw you crack on." But while tensions were rising fans of the ITV dating show were in stitches as they were distracted by the expressions on Deji Adeniyi's face as he quietly ate his popcorn while taking it all in.
At times the Islander, who was dumped by Indiyah Polack for Dami after she brought him back to the main villa from Casa Amor, looked terrified while also trying to fight back laughter. @hulabosn tweeted: "Deji's face expressions have me on the floor." @lolatrickle begged: "Please give Deji more screen time this is amazing."
@obinjokuu commented with a laughing emoji: "Deji is just here for the show tbh." And Fresh Prince of Nakuru said: "Deji enjoying movie night more than us at home, We are watching at home he is live from Anfield."
But other viewers complained that they were left on a cliffhanger. They will now have to wait until Sunday's episode for more Movie Night drama.
@Amsnic complained: "Love Island needed to just show us a full movie night instead of cutting it." Kelly del EastCoast wrote: "We literally got an extended ep yesterday of Andrew doing laps around the villa while Tasha play hide and seek. But this is when they don't wan't to extend. I'm tired. And @MM15HHA said: "Producers need to be fired though. We would've been happy with a whole episode of movie night."
