Fans of Love Island were concerned for Jacques O'Neill's wellbeing after he made his first TV appearance since leaving the villa.
The rugby player decided to pack his bags after he struggled with his emotions after the fall out from Casa Amor. While in there, he had been cracking on with another girl which led to him and Paige Thorne being unable to reconcile.
He tried everything to win her back, from a sweet note left under her pillow to endless chats but it was to no avail. Eventually, he gathered the islanders around the fire pit as he announced his departure in an emotional episode.

Last night, on Sunday, he appeared on Aftersun with Laura Whitmore to discuss his time in the villa. He appeared to keep welling up, with tears in his eyes, as he chatted about his relationship with Paige.
Viewers took to Twitter to show their concern for him as they said that you could "tell he is in pain." Megan said: "I’m watching #Loveislandaftersun and you can tell Jacques was in pain, he looked like he wanted to cry sitting there. Hopefully he grows from this."
Dany said: "Know he wasn’t perfect in the villa. But you can see Jacques pain. He is going through a lot. You can tell he was genuine about Paige even though he was immature. I hope he grows from the experience. Let’s be kind to all the islanders. #loveisland #Loveislandaftersun."
Wolfie said: "Concerned and confused as to why Jacques was on #LoveIslandAftersun - he literally looks so mentally ill/drained and on the verge of a breakdown. This week he said that #LoveIsland was the worst mistake of his life - tonight was like watching a car crash. Awful. Concerned."
Before appearing on the ITV2 spin off show, Jacques issued a statement on his social media saying that he "takes responsibility" for his actions during his time in the villa. He added: "I’ve watched back the episodes that I got the most hate for and listen I understand why I did.
"I’ve got a lot of work to do for myself to become a better person. I know my family come out and said about my ADHD while I was in the villa but that is no excuse for me."
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
