Ekin-Su Cülcüglolu wasted no time in ruffling feathers as she entered the Love Island villa during the latest episode. The 27-year-old's arrival was teased at the end of Wednesday night's episode alongside Afia Tonkmor, 25.
But the pair of bombshells finally made their full appearance in the ITV2 dating show on Thursday night (June 9) after the public chose them both to go on dates with Liam Llewellyn when the 23-year-old was left at risk of being dumped from the Spanish villa after his partner Gemma Owen was chosen by the eighth series' first bombshell, Davide Sanclimenti.
Following the double date, which some branded awkward, the girls joined Liam and headed back into the villa to meet their fellow Islanders. But it didn't get off to the best start as even during the pleasantries, Ekin-Su managed to upset Gemma. The Turkish actress told the teen that she could be her 'little sister' who she could 'take under her wing' and give advice to.

But after smiling off the comment, Gemma then went as far as to tell the other girls that she felt Ekin-Su had patronised her. It also came after Ekin-Su made it clear she wasn't on the show to make friends and would be doing her all to find the love of her life in the villa. And she wasted no time getting to know Italian business owner Davide, also 27.
The pair spent the morning working out together in the garden, much to Gemma’s annoyance, and later that evening, the islanders gathered together for a game of beer pong with every accurate throw prompting a dare. Ekin-Su used her dare to perform a seductive dance on Davide before kissing him on the cheek.
Speaking in the beach hut after the task, she said: "Who else would I want to be rubbing my booty against, you know, the nice little eight pack!" However, Davide’s flirtations only appeared to push Gemma away and towards Luca.
But following Ekin-Su's instant impact on the villa, viewers were quick to compare her to a former Love Island star. @kikiwannakyky tweeted: "Ekin-su is giving the chaos we haven’t seen since Maura Higgins #LoveIsland." @LIReactions commented: "Ekin-Su is giving Maura and I’m SO here for it #loveisland."
@jamieecollinsx said: "Ekin-Su is gonna be as much of a legend as Maura Higgins was. I’m calling it now #loveisland." @meg_coan shared: "Ekin-Su came to f**k s**t up. Haven’t seen a bombshell with this level of treachery upon entry since the queen herself Maura Higgins. #LoveIsland."
Maura was also a bombshell islander during the 2019 series, quickly setting her sights on Tommy Fury who was already coupled up with Molly-Mae. The Irish model did end up in a relationship with Curtis Pritchard, after he broke the heart of Amy Hart. However, that soon fizzled out and Maura is still best friends with Molly-Mae, who has now been loved-up with boxer Tommy for almost three years.
While Ekin-Su dominated much of the latest episode, other Love Island viewers were quick to realise who Amber Beckford reminds them of - and it's a pretty famous face. @garyhayles85 tweeted: "Still think Amber is Rochelle Humes Sister. Uncanny resemblance + Both generally naturally nice ladies #LoveIsland."
@frombretoyou said: "Amber reminds me of Rochelle Humes, I dunno why #loveisland." @mybuddiemybucky commented: "Amber is rochelle humes in disguise #loveisland." There were also comments them Amber reminds them of Rochelle's half-sister Sophie Piper, who starred in the show herself in the first winter edition of Love Island in 2021.
