ITV Lorraine viewers complain over Ranvir Singh's treatment of Mick Hucknall

ITV Lorraine viewers have voiced their frustration with host Ranvir Singh's behaviour in an interview with Mick Hucknall. Mick was in the ITV studio to discuss his musical comeback on Wednesday, May 31, with BBC Strictly Come Dancing star Ranvir stepping in to present instead of Loraine Kelly.

But Ranvir was criticised as viewers slammed her for repeatedly interrupting during the interview, as reported by Birmingham Live. One Twitter user typed: "I see Ranvir is following in Lorraine’s footsteps by constantly interrupting the guest."

And a second chimed in by saying on social media: "Ranvir asks the longest questions I've ever heard and seems to rush the guest through answering it so she can ask another one." A third asked on Twitter: "I wonder if Ranvir can rest her voice?"

"Ranvir talking over her guests as usual," another viewer shared on the social networking platform during the May 31 episode. It comes after Mick shed light on his health woes after a life-changing diagnosis. "The specialist I saw told me I’d probably had [an underactive thyroid] since 1993. I had no idea," Hucknall revealed in an interview back in 2014.

"I had aching joints and was tired all the time, and had weight gain," the musician explained, adding that he would "feel and look all puffy". Hucknall said: "I was getting more and more bloated and would wake up so confused, thinking, ‘Did I eat a lot last night or something?'"

Reflecting on the "side effects" of hypothyroidism, Hucknall said he experienced mood swings, aching joints, and fatigue. "Depression is also connected to the underactive thyroid as the illness prolongs. You can even get certain forms of cancers," Hucknall added. Lorraine airs each and every weekday from 9am until 10am on ITV and also on ITVX.
