Popular TV presenter Lorraine Kelly's fitness coach has opened up on the snacks she ate to help her lose weight. The ITV daytime host has previously spoken of how she put on the pounds during the coronavirus lockdowns, going from a size 10 to 14.
Lorraine, 62, said indulging in lots of junk food and not exercising enough led to her weight gain. She eventually decided to change her unhealthy eating habits with the help of WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers, Yorkshire Live reports. She has since lost 1.5st and said she felt "happier".
She recalled: "I comfort ate and would just find myself hovering around the biscuit tin and the fridge for all sorts of goodies. Me and Steve would have a massive, big chocolate plate every night.

"It started off quite small but ended up being huge! I was going through packets of biscuits and unhealthy grub. I wasn't doing as much exercise and mindlessly eating, just eating for the sake of eating. Now I’ve got much more of a balance."
While she no longer snacks on biscuits and chocolate on a daily basis, she does indulge in the occasional sweet treat. Her fitness coach Suzie Stirling told the Express what Lorraine replaced her unhealthy snacks with.
She said: "Lorraine loves chocolate and had got into the habit of eating lots of it before bed. She didn’t want to give it up for good, so now she has a big bowl of fruit, such as berries, melon and mango, which she dips into a little pot of WW Chocolate Spread."
ITV Lorraine continues to air each and every weekday from 9am on ITV1 and also on the ITV Hub.
