Lorraine Kelly was taken aback as Fay Ripley showed off her bold look on today's edition of her self-titled show.
The broadcaster interviewed the Cold Feet star on Friday's edition of the popular ITV programme.
Fay appeared on the show to speak about her new podcast with David Baddiel named Buy Leave It or Not.

However, Lorraine had to mention Fay's bright green slip on shoes at the end of the interview.
She said: “Now, look, today’s fashion day as you know.
“Can we just talk about your shoes? Can we just talk about the shoes.”
Fay joking revealed why she opts for an flamboyant look.
She said: "I've got a theory now at my age. Draw the eye away from this and this. I think of the extremes. Hat, glittery gloves and big shoes.
"Because it makes everyone go, hello, and then they look down."
Lorraine was gushing at the "brilliant" look, but Fay did reveal the shoes once prompted an embarrassing moment.
The 56-year-old said: "I had a bit of a fall in them. That wasn't a good look on the bus.
"I just have to walk fairly steadily in them. Like a deep sea diver."
