ITV Lorraine: Katie Price speaks out about face change and new documentary with son Harvey

Celebrity Katie Price has appeared on ITV's Lorraine to talk about her her face change and new documentary with her son.

The former glamour model went on the ITV show on Thursday February 24 to chat to host Lorraine Kelly.

Katie, 43, went on the programme solo as she promoted her latest documentary with son Harvey.

The TV star has given a broad look into her family life over the years on social media and through documentaries, including the BBC One programme Katie Price: Harvey And Me.

The documentary explored her life with her son Harvey who was born with septo-optic dysplasia, Prader-Willi syndrome, autism and a learning disability, M.E.N reports.

The follow-up programme, Katie Price: What Harvey Did Next, will follow her eldest son flying the nest and moving to college is due to air next month.

But the mum-of-five was also quizzed about her own health following a series of run-ins with the law and time spent at The Priory.

Kate said that she had recently received mental health support and that she planning to have therapy for the rest of her life.

"Obviously I’ve done another stint in The Priory and that wasn’t rehab, that was nothing to do with alcohol or drugs, it was severe PTSD again," she added.

"I was in there due to what people had done to me that led me up to the car accident, that led me up to go into The Priory.

"And I’ve decided to have therapy every week for the rest of my life."

Lorraine noted that she was one of the few that is very honest about having work done.

She referenced her guest's changing appearance with the reality star admitting she had recently had a brow lift

"I'm looking at you now and I want to say to you, 'don't have any more work, you're fine'," the 62-year-old told Kate.

"You sound like my mother," Katie replied. "You sound like my mum, she's like 'what are you doing, where are you going?'"

Lorraine then laughed and said: "I am your mother!"

After speaking about Katie's mum reaction to her going under the knife, Lorraine reasoned: "But Katie, the pain! Apart from the expense, the pain."

"You know and I know there’s so many people out there who have these little tweaks and they’re like ‘Are you joking? I’m natural’ and I’m like ‘No, you’re not’," Kate said.

Defending her decision to get surgery, she added: "I’m in my 40s so why not? Everyone knows I’m gonna do it and everyone picks on me for it but I’ll try these things."
