ITV Loose Women's Denise Welch warns co-stars 'I'll get angry' as Charlene White steps in while speaking to Corrie star

Denise Welch issued a warning to her co-stars as she appeared on the latest episode of Loose Women. The TV star was back on the ITV lunchtime show on Thursday (March 30) alongside Charlene White, Sunetra Sarker and Jane Moore.

The foursome were joined live on the programme by Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgeley in the ITV soap, who was on hand to talk about her hard-hitting storyline which has shocked viewers. Her appearance on the programme comes after Corrie fans were left horrified earlier this week when Daisy's stalker Justin Rutherford returned to the cobbles on Daisy Midgeley's wedding day and unleashed a horrific acid attack.

But it was Ryan Connor who ended up bearing the brunt of the substance as he stepped in to protect Daisy and was left writhing and screaming in hard-to-watch scenes as the acid burned through his face and arm.

After speaking about the seriousness of the storyline and its importance after it was revealed that 300 acid attacks took place in Manchester alone in 2022, Charlotte was reminded about the time her boyfriend had to appear in an episode of the soap so she could touch his knee during an affair storyline.

The actress, who joined the soap during lockdown in 2020, wasn't able to touch the knee of her co-star Ryan Prescott, who plays Ryan, due to the social distancing rules in place on the set at the time due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is then when 'social distancing sticks' were brought up and Denise automatically said: "Don't get me started, I'll get angry!"

She shared how during one point when filming Hollyoaks, in which she played Trish Miniver, she had to bring in her husband, Lincoln, to the Channel 4 soap. She told her co-stars and Charlotte: "In Hollyoaks, I was meant to be swung around by Rob Beck and they had to call Lincoln in to swing me around."

Sunetra added: "In Casualty, we couldn't even have people holding the wheelchair, we had to have two sticks!" Getting agitated Denise once again said: "Oh don't get me started on the sticks!", as the show's anchor Charlene stepped in and warned: "Don't get Denise started!"

Denise then quipped: "I can feel my anger bubbling up again!", as Jane quickly chimed: "Let's move on from that!" and turned her questioning back to Charlotte.
