ITV Loose Women's Denise Welch stopped mid-sentence after unexpected interruption

Loose Women panelist Denise Welch stopped mid sentence as an alarm sounded on today's show.

During a segment where the presenters chatted about the cost of living crisis, Denise was given her opinion when an alarm began to sound. She stopped talking mid-sentence as she appeared to looked worried and shocked.

Kaye Adams reassured her co-host. She said: "It's ok, I think that there's an alarm outside. But we will get that checked out."

Denise said: "Oh..." She looked relieved as she continued the discussion where she left off.

Just a few months ago, in March of this year, ITV studios were evacuated over a police incident and Loose Women was pulled from air. This Morning and Lorraine were also affected at the time.

There had been reports of a 'suspicious package' in the area and police officers were called to a reported security alert at Wood Lane, White City in London. Apparently Lorraine Kelly was to blame for the incident.

At the time, she said: "Apparently, I am told, someone from a film company sent me a present and it had a battery in it. When they X-rayed it, it looked a little bit suspicious but it was all fine and dandy and it's ok."
