ITV Loose Women's Coleen Nolan orders co-star to 'be quiet' in fiery clash

Loose Women's Coleen Nolan ordered a co-star to "be quiet" in a fiery clash on today's show.

The 57-year-old appeared on Tuesday's panel alongside Janet Street Porter, Linda Robson and Ruth Langsford. The panel were discussing the upheaval within the Conservative government as new Chancellor Jeremy Hunt ripped up the policies in Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng's mini budget.

This has prompted a petition to bring back Boris Johnson as Prime Minister, which has been signed by thousands of supporters. Mr Johnson officially left No.10 Downing Street just last month after his government was hit by a series of scandals.

Mr Johnson eventually bowed to pressure in July as a spate of Ministers resigned after the way he handled the row over former deputy chief whip Chris Pincher was roundly criticised. The former Prime Minister had to apologise for appointing Mr Pincher to a government role despite being aware of a previous complaint made against him.

However, Linda backed calls for him to return to office because he was "pleasant". She also hit back at Partygate claims as the former PM was pictured holding a beer at a birthday party during the first lockdown.

She said: "He wasn't actually having a party, his wife bought a cake in." Coleen shot down the defence as she ordered her fellow panelist to "be quiet".

Viewers following the show on Twitter agreed with Coleen's assessment.

Traylor said: "The fact that Linda Robson thinks Boris Johnson was a good prime minister because he lived by her and used to say hello says everything"

Caroline added: "Oh wake up Linda!"

Joe tweeted: "Linda’s Boris obsession is just embarrassing"

Stephanie commented: "Here Linda Robson goes again banging on about seeing Boris Johnson in Islington".
