ITV Loose Women fans blown away by Charlene White's impressive vocals live on air

Loose Women viewers were treated to a little karaoke on Friday's show when host Charlene White got up and belted out Christina Aguilera's Lady Marmalade.

The TV presenter had previously admitted that is was her choice of tune, so after the ITV daytime show had returned from a break, Nadia Sawalha said: "Alright, so, Charlene off you go."

"Charlene was just singing this in the break, and we're going to make her do it for you now... go on", she added.

Those watching at home were quick to react on Twitter, with one saying: "You are a superstar!!!!! Amazing girl!!! Just bloody amazing!!! Xxx love ya!!! Xxx"

Yesterday, we told you how viewers were left raging at panelist Gloria Hunniford during Thursday's show over comments she made about the coast of living crisis.

Kaye Adams, Carol McGiffin, Nadia Sawalha and Gloria were discussing finances and whether kids should be given money lessons in school. Gloria, 82, told the panel that people have to 'cut our cloth accordingly' - and that left fans of the ITV daytime show fuming.

Beginning the chat, Kaye mentioned that "only four in 10 young people had some form of financial education at school" before asking the panel if they thought children should have money lessons at school.

Gloria commented: "It's interesting actually, because of course, I know the world has changed massively but sometimes when a topic like this comes up, which I bet for all of our lovely audience today is a big problem... unless you're a multi, multi millionaire, we're in difficulty and we're all looking at the pennies and for ways to save.

"But when I was growing up back in the day, we were taught to save. So even at school level, we were taught the value of saving. That attitude in a way has stayed with me all my life, I try never to go into the red, I never used to go out without money in my bag, I would never understand why people would say, 'well I haven't got any money with me'."

Kaye responded: "This problem that we are facing is not the making of young people, we've created this world where we want people to spend, spend, spend."

Gloria fired back: "But we are a nation now that thinks we can have everything, expensive holidays, designer shoes..."

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm at ITV, ITV Hub and STV Player.
