Loose Women's Janet Street Porter was mortified as she accidentally called Coleen Nolan a "slippery pig".
The two panelists were joined by Christine Lampard and Brenda Edwards on today's edition of the ITV programme. They started off by discussing the fallout from a chaotic night for the Conservative party.
Boris Johnson's administration was under threat last night after Sajid Javid and Rishi Sunak both handed in their resignations. The panel debated whether the Prime Minister would survive the leadership crisis.

Janet explained Mr Johnson is often referred to as the "greased piglet" due to his track record of being able to slip out of tricky situations. However, the show was hit by confusion when Coleen branded the remark as "harsh".
Janet hit back: "Slippery pig, that goes with you Coleen". Brenda and Coleen were visibly stunned by the comment.
Janet later clarified her comments and insisted she didn't aim the term at her co-star. She said: "Just briefly I love Coleen dearly and if something came out of my mouth that sounded like greased piglet it was not intended."
Coleen responded: "It's alright I went backstage and sizzled away with anger." The two repeatedly referenced the exchange throughout the episode.
Coleen joked: "I'm thinking now. Should I change my name to Percy Pig? I don't know." Janet later added: "I don't want to hurt people, especially Coleen."
