ITV I'm A Celebrity viewers spot new voting row as they say campmate needs to be 'protected'

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here viewers think they have spotted a new voting row - and it's fair to say it's not the first time it has happened during a run of the ITV reality show. Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly were back on screens on Monday night (November 21) to bring fans the latest jungle action.

And the eliminations are now happening thick and fast as Sue Cleaver became the third campmate to leave camp. The Coronation Street actress couldn't hide her delight as she left her new pals behind and joined the hosting duo in the studio for her exit chat.

After leaving the Australian jungle, Sue, who is famed for playing Eileen Grimshaw in Corrie, told Ant and Dec: "Camp life, I’ve absolutely adored it. I’ve absolutely adored waking up in the jungle, that has been wonderful. You can stuff your trials where the sun don't shine quite frankly."

When asked whether she felt as though her time in the jungle was done, Sue added: "Absolutely, I’d absolutely had enough, I’d hit a wall. It’s the anxiety, it’s the not knowing, it’s having absolutely no control over your life. That’s weird. That is so weird." It came after she broke down in tears and was comforted by Mike Tindall over feeling homesick in the jungle.

Elsewhere in the episode, Matt Hancock left his campmates less than impressed after burning part of the camp’s meal. The former health secretary had to admit the rice was "totally burnt" but appeared unfazed and was apparently unaware of his campmates’ feelings, saying: “We rescued the situation, we got half a pan of rice. Basically we lost one packet of rice. All is well."

Meanwhile, Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner received a much warmer reception from the camp after he triumphed in the return of the Boiling Point Bushtucker Trial, which Chris Moyles had attempted the previous week. The trial, which involved finding the right spanner out of four which could then be used to retrieve stars from an underwater network of pipes, left radio presenter Chris noticeably distressed and managed to secure just one out of a possible 11 stars.

But after getting some intel from Chris, 48, Owen, 23, blitzed through the trial and secured all nine stars available, finishing with time to spare. Returning to camp to share the good news, the Channel 4 soap star yelled out: "We eating good tonight."

However, back to the latest elimination and after the show was embroiled in a race rwo at the start of the week following Scarlette Douglas and Charlene White's exits from the show, I'm A Celeb fans have now pointed out another issue - that all the eliminations so far have been female. This leaves Lioness Jill Scott the as the only woman in camp and viewer say she must be 'protected'.

@halfordsue said: "Why are all the women being voted off!!!" to which @olympicsjen replied: "I know sad isn't it. There were less women to start with and now just 1. They should have added another woman when Olivia left rather than 2 men." @dangerousk1ck pointed out: "Only one woman left, protect jill."

@singleindemnity tweeted: "#ImACeleb Three women in a row evicted. Misogyny or what." @wagondivision posted: "ALMOST ALL THE WOMEN GONE.. STAY SAFE JILL #ImACeleb." @__d4nedison commented: "Shocked by this exit. Expected Sue to be in the final three/four. The women are being obliterated this year! #ImACeleb." @MissLSW added: "How depressing that the first 3 out are women (4 including Olivia) #ImACeleb."

But fans also remembered it isn't the first time. @harry_shumjr tweeted: "That’s 3 years in a row where the majority of women have left first and only one has been left with 5+ men. Hmmm maybe it’s about time they stuck 2 female late arrivals in instead of men #ImACeleb." @CampfireTalesUK said: "Every year on #ImACeleb the "great" British public votes out women first en mass. This year it's especially horrific as people somewhere are voting for Matt Hancock. Whoever you are, you can't be looking in the mirror in the morning."

@laurenellenblog commented: "Same as last year… the women get voted out first. One left. Thank god for Jill. #ImACeleb." @JonMDexter shared: "As thrilled as I am for Sue…yet again for the third year running the first three out are women #ImACeleb." @chloerichx added: "Next year they need to have more women than men because it’s honestly a joke #imaceleb."
