Viewers rushed to social media to comment on Ant and Dec's reaction after they announced Matt Hancock finished third on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Fans of the ITV show were quick to point out that the presenting duo looked relieved when it was revealed the former health secretary would not be crowned the new 'king of the jungle'. The politician had made it all the way to the finale of the popular reality show but received fewer public votes than Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner and eventual winner footballer Jill Scott.
As Hancock's third place finish was confirmed, viewers at home noticed a sense of relief wash over the Geordie duo, the Mirror reported. Noticing what happened, one fan wrote: "Ant and Dec look relieved as the nation finally wakes up and votes Matt off #ImACelebrity #ImACeleb how he made it to the final three though."
