ITV I'm A Celebrity viewers 'disappointed' by Matt Hancock as they spot 'embarrassing' moment

He's been the talk of the jungle and beyond since entering the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here camp just a matter of days ago but Matt Hancock is set to get even more airtime as he's voted for ANOTHER trial.

The ITV reality show's hosting duo Dec Donnelly and Ant McPartlin revealed at the end of Thursday night's installment that the former health secretary, 44, and singer-songwriter Boy George will take on the first eating challenge of this series. which will air on-screen on Friday (November 11).

The Geordie duo said both would be eating at La Cucaracha Cafe, which means the Cockroach cafe in Spanish. It comes after Matt faced his second trial in just 24 hours after the public also voted for the West Sullfolk MP, who has been suspended from the Tory party, to take on Tentacles of Terror.

It saw Matt trapped inside an octopus-shaped cage full of underwater critters while tasked with collecting 11 numbered stars in order as the structure was lowered into the water. And the 44-year-old managed to do so, winning full rations for the camp.

Matt and fellow latecomer Seann Walsh also had to continue their 'undercover mole' duties which they were first tasked with during their first appearance in a separate camp - dubbed Mole HQ. Their latest challenges saw the pair having to enlist Scarlette Douglas and Jill Scott who had to do their own secret tasks in order to win the rest of the campmates' luxury items.

Later, viewers got to see the stars receiving their array of items, with comedian Seann opting for a foldable chair, Celebrity Gogglebox star Babatund Aleshe receiving his choice of a disposable camera and Owen Warner, who asked for a mug with a photo of him and his grandparents.

But when it came to Jill Scott, she followed in the footsteps of former Queen of the Castle Giovanna Fletcher by opting for music - after her initial request for the England squad list for the upcoming World Cup was rejected. Instead, she was granted three plays of Neil Diamond's classic Sweet Caroline.

The first play brought some joy to the camp but Jill confessed: "I don't actually know the words!" And eagle-eyed I'm A Celeb viewers don't think it's just Jill who didn't know the words to the adopted football anthem. @munroney tweeted: "Matt Hancock trying to act like he knew what the lyrics were to Sweet Caroline #ImACeleb."

@wildflowervoll6 cried: "MATT HANCOCK DOESNT KNOW SWEET CAROLINE ????? #ImACeleb." @soul_sniper65 noted: "Matt clearly doesn’t know the words to sweet Caroline #ImACeleb." @Grxclix posted: "mate they way they zoomed in on Matt not knowing the words at the start of sweet Caroline…he is getting RUINED left right and centre #ImACeleb."

@Mofoman360 typed: "My god how uncomfortable did Matt Hancock look when sweet Caroline was playing talk about embarrassing #ImACeleb." @sarahjustvibing asked: "Matt doesn’t know the words to sweet Caroline ???? Who doesn’t know the words to sweet Caroline !!!! Or at least enough to fake it!! #ImACeleb."

@MajorOZ72 commented: "I thought everyone knew sweet Caroline. I am so disappointed in Matt #ImACeleb." @Delirious_Days added: "I haven’t really wanted to look into Matt Hancock’s back story but are we 100% sure he’s from Earth? I’ve never seen anyone look like they’re trying to assimilate into humanity so hard before. That Sweet Caroline moment… #ImACeleb."
