ITV I'm A Celebrity viewers beg 'please' as Matt Hancock faces second trial despite being 'rattled' by another campmate

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here fans have been sharing a plea to their fellow viewers after it was revealed that Matt Hancock will be taking on the next trial. All eyes were on the latest episode of the ITV reality show on Wednesday night (November 9) as the former health secretary made his way into the jungle.

Matt and comedian Seann Walsh joined the camp as latecomers after taking part in their first trial, titled Beastly Burrows. After getting a slightly underwhelming six out of 11 stars, the pair headed off into main camp to meet their fellow campmates.

But just before that, the pair discovered they would be undercover moles in the main camp and were given a series of secret missions to undertake to earn the campmates their luxury items. Matt and Seann were told they must steal someone’s hat and gilet and bring them back to Mole HQ, call Chris Moyles 'Greg' on three separate occasions, and convince the camp that one of them is a keen bird-watcher by re-creating the calls of fictional Australian birds.

And it's fair to say Matt caused a stir as he entered the main camp, with many of the show’s famous faces shocked to see the West Suffolk MP, who had the Conservative Party whip removed after announcing his plans to join the show, walking towards them. The campmates soon began to banter with Matt and quizzed him over both his political decisions and his motivation for taking part in the show.

Referencing Matt's role in televised press conferences during the coronavirus pandemic, Chris asked: "You’ve got to get it out of the way for me, please just say, 'Next slide please’, and I’m really happy." After Matt willingly did what Chris requested, Culture Club frontman Boy George told him: "You’re really going to get it. You’re really going to get it. Not from me, I mean, just from…"

And the end of the episode, it was revealed that after having his first taste of challenges, Matt will now face the Tentacles of Terror trial, which is set to air in Thursday night’s show. Hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly delivered the news, after which Matt said: “Do you know what, I just knew it was going to be me and I still felt nervous."

While some I'm A Celeb viewers had vowed to vote for Matt to do 'every trial' some have begged for people to 'please' vote for someone else. @lukedarby1883 said: "Please don't vote for him every time.. we wanna see other celebs have a go." @danpittock27 commented: "If people keep voting for him it would become tedious. Please vote for different people."

@moon_gazer_em posted: "Please don't make this "the matt show.'" @Theatreluvvie12 tweeted: "Please don't vote for @MattHancock to do ALL the trials. Some of the others want to do some too. #ImACeleb." @BdigitalB added: "#ImACeleb #stopvotingmatt please don’t spoil this brilliant camp and only vote for @MattHancock - let’s use reverse sociology and ignore him..."

And it appears some have another campmate in mind for a trial. @maria_oreganxx said: "I was kinda hoping boy gorge would be doing it as he’s doing my head in." @08.bp commented: "Love matt in the jungle( key words people) Boy George is starting to rattle me tbf." @birch_sarah asked: "Is there any chance we can get boy george do a trial? #ImACeleb." @TULSADAN added: "I NEED to see Boy George and Matt Hancock in a trial together cause im evil #ImACeleb."
