I'm A Celebrity... South Africa star Paul Burrell has revealed the late Queen's private bath time routine as he opened up about his royal links in camp. The former butler of the late Princess Diana is currently on screen in the spin-off of the hit ITV reality show.
He is among the several famous faces from the popular jungle-based programme's 20 year history who have decided to give it another go but this time in the new setting of Kruger National Park – one of the largest game reserves in Africa located in Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
Joining Paul in the first-ever spin-off series, which is still fronted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, is boxing champion Amir Khan; Diversity dancer and DJ Jordan Banjo; TV presenter Carol Vorderman; Olympic athlete Fatima Whitbread; Happy Monday's star Shaun Ryder; former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan; ex-England cricketer Phil Tufnell and supermodel Janice Dickinson.

During a conversation in the South African camp, which will air during Wednesday night's episode (April 26), Countdown star Carol Vorderman joked that she needed a butler, before Paul interrupted to explain he was on hand to help.
It is then when the 64-year-old went on to reveal that the Queen Elizbeth II, who died in September last year aged 96, never ran a bath herself and had never been required to "put the plug in", while he prepared several towels for the matriarch of the House of Windsor.
Peaking out from her sleeping bag, supermodel Janice Dickinson asked: "Did you have to like... Give the Queen a bath?" To which Paul replied: "She did that herself," before adding: "You have to set the towels out in a special way and royals never run their baths, they're run for them."
He added: "So they never have to put the plug in." Janice, 68, couldn't believe what she was hearing as she went on to share in the Bush Telegraph: "Paul the butler from the royal house has the best stories on Earth. So I kind of ask him little questions here and there and he goes on and on and I'm like 'Ah, yes, yes!'"
It comes after fans quickly issued a complaint about Paul during his opening appearance in the new series. In his interview ahead of arriving in the I'm A Celeb camp, he said: "Most people will know me from being a footman to Her Majesty and butler to Diana, Princess of Wales.
And some viewers were not too happy with this name-dropping just minutes into the first-ever pre-recorded edition of I'm A Celeb. @StephenNCher tweeted: "It took Paul Burrell approximately 0.55 seconds before he mentioned Diana #ImACeleb." @lightsandsounds said: "It took less than 10 seconds for Paul Burrell to namedrop the Queen and Princess Diana #ImACeleb."
Before his first on-screen appearance, Paul appeared on ITV's Lorraine and told host Lorraine Kelly: "I've sat in the jungle with cancer the queen has died and I'm thinking 'Oh wow, how do I get through this?' We gather strength from somewhere, I had two angels sitting on my shoulders, the Princess and the Queen."
