Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have given a behind the scenes look at their days while filming I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in a video which ended with Ant telling his co-host: 'Let's go to bed!'
The Geordie duo have been back on screens for almost three weeks after the hit ITV reality show returned earlier this month. And the hosts have been back on home soil so to speak as I'm A Celeb returned to Australia for the first time in three years after travel restrictions imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic saw the show filmed in the UK.
It's been another jam-packed series after the likes of Boy George, Mike Tindall, Jill Scott, Charlene White and Babatunde Aleshe swapped their lives of luxury for one of restricted food and horrifying trials in the Australian jungle. As they settled into life in camp, the celebs were rocked by the arrival of former health secretary Matt Hancock.
The MP made a late arrival on the show alongside comedian Seann Walsh and during his time Down Under, has been questioned on his reason for being on the show and his relationship with former aide and girlfriend Gina Colangelo.
But as the 2022 series of I'm A Celeb nears the end, with the final taking place on Sunday (November 27), Ant and Dec have decided to show what they get up to every day when the show is on air. As viewers know, the hosts present their segments live each night, usually starting at 9pm UK time which makes it 7am in Australia.
The segments from camp that they show, however, are often pre-recorded and from the day and evening before they are aired. But Ant and Dec's day actually starts hours before they are seen on air, with the video posted to their joint Instagram page showing the pair getting out of their car at the studio at 4am.
"It's so early," Dec cries before he appears stroking Ant's face. "Look at that lovely face," he says before his co-host tells him: "Come on, let's get to work." There was the important matter of filling in their World Cup chart before they headed into meetings for the show.
They're then not seen until 6.15am with Dec appearing to have lost his glasses. They then jump in the car and within five minutes they're in the studio getting camera ready. And before you know it, the pair are live and giving their best 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' wails from the bridge.
After wrapping on the show, Ant and Dec have been hosting an Instagram Live each night to chat to viewers and give a debrief on all the latest jungle action but just because they're off air, it doesn't mean the work stops. Ant was seen signing the yello stars usually seen in Bushtucker Trials before heading off to film the next challenge.
At around 11am, the pair finish up the trial and Ant is seen saying: "Declan... let's go to bed. That's it." Dec then chekkily replied: "Are you telling everybody now?" Ant replied: "Yeah... let's go to bed, you!" giving his co-host a poke. "Come on then," Dec adds before the video comes to an end.
