ITV's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here has been hit with an outbreak of Covid just days before the final, it has been reported. Two staff members on the hit reality show tested positive for coronavirus earlier this week, with safety measures now being put in place ahead of the final on Sunday, November 27.
The Sun reports that ITV bosses have increased safety measures around the camp, including wearing masks at all times, and that a tent selling hot drinks and snacks on the site was closed for the night so it could be disinfected to prevent the virus spreading.
A spokesperson for the show confirmed that wo staff members had tested positive for the virus, saying: "We can confirm a couple of production team members have tested positive for coronavirus. The protocols we have in place for such an eventuality have been implemented and filming has continued as we adhere to all covid guidelines."
