ITV I'm A Celebrity host Dec Donnelly reveals new show rule after fans' complaints as he shares 'breaking news'

Dec Donnelly shared some 'breaking news' with fans of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here as he and Ant McPartlin returned for their latest jungle debrief. The ITV reality show's presenting duo have been heading onto Instagram to chat to viewers live every night after the show airs.

And not only did Dec share some big news about the upcoming episode on Monday night (November 21), he also confirmed a rule had been put in place after I'm A Celeb fans pleaded for a change to be made. While things have since moved on, earlier in the series Matt Hancock found himself taking part in every trial.

The former health secretary faced six consecutive trials following his debut in the jungle alongside fellow latecomer Seann Walsh. But as fans admittedly grew 'bored' of Matt, 44, taking on every trial, the votes seemingly began to go elsewhere with the likes of Chris Moyles, Boy George and the since evicted Charlene White taking on trials.

But on Sunday night (November 20), as the public's votes turn to who they wanted to save and see continued their jungle journey ahead of the final this coming Sunday (November 27), it was up to the campmates to choose who they wanted to face the latest Bushtucker trial, named Speak Uneasy.

Former rugby player Mike Tindall and Lioness Jill Scott both put themselves forward for the stomach-churning trial which saw the pair challenged to drink 10 different concoctions in a bid to win stars for camp. Viewers saw Mike face tackle blended cockroaches and blended vomit fruit among his selection.

After having blended pig's penis, he said: "That is horrendous after. Hello, you repeat." He also had a choice of various drinks and opted for 'Minga Bee' which was blended sheep’s vagina and, 'Grim Beam' which turned out to be blended pig’s uterus. Former footballer Jill, meanwhile, was tasked with drinking blended fish eyes and blended snails amongst her five drinks.

While drinking blended goat’s testicle, she said: "Agh it’s got hairs in it! Could have had a wax before. That was disgusting. That was horrendous." But the former athletes were victorious and returned to camp having won all 10 stars. However, they shared their concern as to whether they'd be able to enjoy the meal as they felt sick following the sickening trial.

Speaking about how well Mike and Jill did during their Instagram Live, Ant admitted he would like to see someone new down at the trial clearing for Monday's episode, prompting Dec to reveal the new rule regarding celebrities voting for themselves to do trials.

He revealed: "I think it will be a new face at the next trial because when it goes to them, they're now not allowed to do the trials two days in a row so somebody else has to do the trial today, so it'll be someone new!" It comes after viewers pleaded for the change in a bid to see someone other than Matt taking on the trials during his long run at the trial clearing.

Also in their latest live video, with the topic on trials, Dec went on to reveal some "breaking news" to their 4.8million followers as he gave a spoiler about the upcoming episode tonight (Monday). "The breaking news is that today's trial is Chris' trial that he got one star in - we're going to do it again!" the 47-year-old confirmed,

Ant commented: "So this'll be interesting if someone comes down and does the trial and does it well and goes back to Chris and says 'Oh yeah look I got all the stars!,' how gutted is he going to feel?" But Dec pondered: "Or is Chris going to go, 'I want another go at it?," Ant didn't appear convinced by Dec's idea as he simply exclaimed: "LOL" before going on to say "but that would be good."
