Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have branded Owen Warner a 'idiot' after I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here viewers complained to the show hosts about the latest Bushtucker Trial. During the last installment of the ITV reality show on Thursday night (November 24), viewers watched the Hollyoaks actor take on the next trial with Chris Moyles.
Radio DJ Chris was hoping to redeem himself after his last solo trial saw him bag a measly one star for a then much bigger group in camp. However, it could have been two but he lost one before finishing the trial.
And his redemption trial didn't go as planned as he put himself forward for The Savage Sorting Office Busktucker Trial alongside Owen. The pair were tasked with sorting through mail to find the coveted golden stars but Warner found himself suspended from a crane in a harness while Moyles had to operate the crane blindfolded and received electric shocks every 30 seconds.

Owen, 23, had to search through mud crabs, eels, snakes and rats to find the stars but he kept missing throwing them into a postbox, which was how they would secure a meal for camp. The pair then returned to camp having only won one star out of a possible six with Owen taking full blame for their poor result.
Sharing his devastation later in the Bush Telegraph, the soap star said: "I can’t help but beat myself up a lot. I’m so hungry and I wanted to bring back good news and I can't." But during the show, I'm A Celeb viewers were flocking to social media to complain about the trial, after previously complaining they were too easy.
@Debbie_Shanelle tweeted: "Poor Owen blaming himself, it was a set up to fail … virtually impossible at the end … come on @imacelebrity that was plain torture #ImACeleb." @Vickilouise89x1 said: "#ImACeleb come on!! You do all these easy trials and then you do an impossible one." @SDarbon echoed: "I’m a celeb impossible task! So unfair on the campmates. #ImACelebrity."
@itsbrak posted: "Sorry, this trial is actually so stupid #ImACeleb." @h1736362929 commented: "Whoever came up with Owen and Chris trial last night I am not impressed and I hope you find a spider in your pillow. Like that trial was way harder then it needed to be #ImACeleb." @EvieJamesTweets added: "This trial is ridiculously unfair. #ImACeleb."
But it appears Ant and Dec didn't agree. Taking to Instagram for their latest jungle debrief, which they have dubbed Jungle Club and sees them going live on the social media platform after each live show, the Geordie duo addressed the backlash. Dec asked: “Was it too hard do you think, Ant?" to which he replied: "No Dec, I don't think it was too hard.
"He should have gone underarm earlier, it was bad throwing. Poor Owen threw a bit of a tantrum." Dec joked: "He did throw a bit of a tantrum, fortunately the tantrum bounced off the edge of the post box and landed on the ground - he was terrible at throwing tantrums too." Ant added: "That's because he should have been throwing underarm, idiot!"
