The dramatic moment Matt Hancock was stung by a scorpion was aired during tonight's I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! The former health secretary was reeling in pain after being attacked by the creature in the Australian jungle on Sunday night's episode (November 13).
Matt swore as at first he thought he had a splinter. But then he unveiled the scorpion as the culprit. "Oh f*** it's like I've just been bitten by something," he exclaimed on the ITV reality show.
And he told his campmates: "Wow, look at that, a scorpion. I've been stung by a scorpion." "It hurts a lot and I'm feeling slightly dizzy," he said.

As a Place In The Sun star Scarlette Douglas reassured it was 'tiny', she told him to sit and called for a first aid box. But he was mocked by Culture Club icon George.
The Karma Chameleon singer said in the Bush Telegraph: "It was like, of all the people that could get stung by a scorpion. He added: "I mean, I'm not laughing. I'm sure it was horrible but [laughs]." Comedian Seann Walsh also had a dig by joking: "It was this big."
Away from the camp hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly also quipped that "size isn't everything" as Dec said "the good news is Matt's okay." Ant joked: "I forgot about that."
@William62096069 fumed on Twitter: "Think Boy George's reaction to this was just completely wrong. He clearly doesn't like Matt and that's fine, but he could have been more sympathetic.
"I mean how would he have liked the if it was him that had been stung by a scorpion?" And @SarahMason_ said: "Not the biggest fan of Matt Hancock for obvious reasons. But Boy George finding it hilarious that he got stung by a Scorpion is vile!"
@LordSimon20 tweeted: "Matt Hancock got stung by a scorpion. Boy George shows little remorse." and @hanadhaire vented: "Least Matt gets s*** done, doesn’t whine, just gets the trials done and does more than his best!"
@dizzyellena vented: "How rude is Boy George laughing at Matt getting stung by a scorpion, he could of been really hurt and its absolutely disgusting that people think it's funny!!!" But an amused @Bethbobaggings joked: "Boy George is just there like karma karma karma karma......scorpion."
While taking on his latest trial House of Horrors Matt faced snakes, 2.5 million flies and offal and won nne out of the 11 stars on offer. But later there was tension in camp as Matt was appointed camp leader and was given a red throne.
"I'm not having him leading me," declared George. Later he regaled the camp with a song including the lyrics: "I'll never bow to a bloody Tory."
