The next installment of jungle action may not have aired yet but I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here have already got a major complaint. Wednesday night's edition of the ITV reality show saw hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly reveal a huge twist which saw fans unable to vote for the next trial.
The Geordie duo revealed that three lucky celebs would soon be taken out of the jungle and flown to a beach to enjoy a surf 'n' turf barbecue after days with little food due to disastrous trial attempts from Chris Moyles (twice), Boy George and Babatunde Aleshe.
This means that the usual public-voted Bushtucker trial has been scrapped and ALL the campmates will be involved as they battle for a place on the beach. The stars have been given 24 hours to collect as many balls as they could to win the ultimate prize. However, they do have to take part in various challenges along the way.
"Over the next 24 hours you will get opportunities to win more balls. Tomorrow, all the balls will be placed in a tombola and three will be picked at random,' Charlene White read from a laminated message delivered into camp. "The three lucky celebrities will fly off and enjoy a day at the beach. The more balls a celebrity has, the greater the chance of winning the prize," she added.
And there was not time to waste as the first challenge saw some of the campmates having to complete to win a ball at the Unfair Funfair. Mike Tindall, Scarlette Douglas, Seann Walsh and Matt Hancock were seen collecting water in their helmets for a water gun to move a horse along a track.
Meanwhile, Boy George, Charlene, Owen Warner and Jill Scott were taking on another challenge, the Terrible Teacups, and the rest of the camp faced a classic 'buzz wire game'. But rather than collecting their own balls, it was noted that many of the celebs were opting to collect for Owen who has been left starving in the camp.
It was then later revealed by Ant and Dec to the camp that there was no public vote and it was up to the stars themselves to choose which three would be taking it on. The announcement was made by the hosts just moments before the end of Wednesday's show.
But as the hosts left and teased that viewers would have to wait until Thursday's episode to see which three campmates would take on the trial, they ended up finding out straight away as the cameras appeared to linger too long on the campmates who wasted no time in making their decision.
They decided that Mike, Matt and Owen would take on 'Scareground' after nominating themselves for the challenges, before the camera cut back to Ant and Dec to end the show before the usual credits rolled.
And as the surprise who is taking on the trial has disappeared, I'm A Celeb viewers were flocking to social media to complain. @TVrealitysoaps tweeted: "So Matt gets to do yet another trial? and none of the girls have had a chance to do one #ImACeleb."
@HW_247 fumed: "FFS I’m so sick of watching Matt Hancock do trials. Jill literally just said she’d do the next trial & got shut down for Matt, Mike & Owen to it instead (3 men - shocker) Someone let me know when Jill gets to do a trial & I might watch this shit again #ImACeleb." @Grumpyoldbag1 wrote: "As if the people who haven’t done a trial are going to let Matt do one!! Come on! Step up Charlene, Scarlett and Sue! #ImACeleb."
@griannedoherty3 said: "So Matt, Mike & Owen doing the next trial. Making it Matt's 6th overall. Meanwhile Jill, Sue, Scarlett & Charlene haven't even done a single one thus far really? Be nice to see someone different for once. Although Mike & Owen? Dream Team, if only it was Sue not Matt #ImACeleb." @amg_england posted: "Now Matt Hancock has the whole team voting for him to do a trial so they can eat , what a U Turn #ImACeleb." @chmbler added: "Why did they pick matt to do the trial over jill, she clearly wanted to do it this is a robbery #imaceleb."
However, it appears there was a change of heart as preview images show Mike, Owen and Jill taking part in the trial.
