ITV I'm A Celebrity fans divided over who should go as campmate is 'getting better' after backlash

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here fans don't seem to agree on who should be next to leave to the jungle as some admitted that one particular campmate was 'getting better' after facing backlash from viewers. So far, Charlene White, Scarlette Douglas and Sue Cleaver have made their exit from the Australian camp on the ITV reality show.

The elimination began last Friday (November 18) with the 11 campmates being whittled down to just three in time for the final of the 2022 series on Sunday (November 27). According to the bookies, Hollyoaks star Owen Warner is currently the odds-on favourite to be crowned king of the jungle for 2022.

Former rugby star Mike Tindall and Lioness Jill Scott have also been frontrunners throughout the series but with eight campmates still remaining, there's still a long way to go with more exits to come before a winner is crowned.

And while some are adamant that Boy George should be next to leave, others have had a change of heart. Following Coronation Street star Sue's exit, @janet.johnson32 said: "AT LAST!!! BG next please followed by Chris and Mike!!" @tonichalynch99 wrote: "THANK GOD ! Next boy George and Chris to go."

@PolishPablo69 tweeted: "#ImACeleb next up Boy George voted out..." @PotatoB44959567 posted: "Were so close to getting Boy George out. Manifesting it next episode #ImACeleb." @mis4nas added: Why is everyone but Matt and BG (Boy George) being voted out i’m tired #ImACeleb."

But some have warmed to Culture Club star Boy George and are starting to see a different side to him following his confrontations with former health secretary Matt Hancock. @chrisedge37 said: "Boy George is definitely getting better now." @kerry.gibson.399 wrote: "Boy George is growing on me. Think he's quite a nice person."

@julie_bennett posted: "George has told people that he is much better one-to-one than in a group, so the more the show goes on and the camp gets smaller his stories will get better." @littlepea11 added: "I'm starting to feel like Boy George is pulling his mask down and it's refreshing to see."

It came after Boy George and Jill were discussing coming out with comedian Seann Walsh. Jill shared how being LGBT+ in women’s football is "never an issue" but added that it is harder for male footballers as "it’s not a safe environment". Singer Boy George, 61, said: "(People) often ask, ‘When did you know you were gay?’ It was kind of gradual I think.

"For me it was other kids calling me a girl…'You're a girl!'" Boy George then told the Bush Telegraph: “I have no problem with people asking me when did I know I was gay because I can’t answer it. It’s such a weird question. The difference is that when you’re a gay kid or trans or whatever, no-one really prepares for your arrival."

Speaking at the creek, he added: "I knew if I announced it I’d be immediately unpopular in the playground, but inside of me, I absolutely thought it was totally normal and this is what’s meant to be."
