Parked up in the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! camp this year is a haven of 'comfort'. Producers have provided a 'luxury' RV to sleep in and camp leader Matt Hancock and deputy Charlene White gained a 'pass'. But Charlene is refusing to trade in her camp bed for the upgraded sleeping quarters leaving some viewers shocked at the move and calling her 'selfish'.
On Wednesday evening's show, fans watched as Seann Walsh woke up in the Jungle setting and complained about his bad back after an eighth night in the hammock. It was no laughing matter for the comedian as he called on Mike Tindall to crack his back.
Heading for the Bush Telegraph he said: “Whenever I see a holiday postcard with someone in a hammock on a beach, I’m going to be like, ‘That is a lie!’ I want to sleep on the floor, but I’m too scared I’ll get eaten alive.”
Other campmates have taken pity on the celeb, but it seems that Charlene is sticking to her guns and not vacating her bunk, which would provide Seann with a bed. On the first night, Charlene complained about spiders in the room and decided to sleep outside instead.
In camp, Owen Warner said to Seann: “Swap tonight if you want? We’ll take it in turns having no sleep.” Seann replied: “Bless you, I really appreciate that. I’m saying yes to you because you’re 23. Your age has come to haunt you. Thank you.”

The Hollyoaks star then privately turned to Loose Women’s Charlene if she would be comfortable sleeping in the RV, as she is entitled to the comfy bed as the deputy leader of camp.
Owen was clearly nonplussed by the decision, as he added in the Bush Telegraph: “The RV is lovely. A comfy bed, mattress, duvet, pillows… the RV is an unreal night’s sleep literally.” Owen told Charlene he would have to alternate with Seann as she was sleeping in one of the few prepared camp beds – forcing Charlene to agree to try and sleep in the RV again.
Even show hosts Ant and Dec have taken to shouting 'Just sleep in the RV' from the treetop studio. Adding: "I don't know what the problem is". However, fans of the show think that they've worked out the issue, which several have labelled a ‘selfish’ decision.
Taking to Twitter, the Mirror reported on fans reaction and their theories. One person wrote: “Why is Charlene being dramatic about the RV god damn - oh no! a mattress! a duvet and pillow!” A second wrote: “Think she is being very selfish not sleeping in the RV,” as a third said: “Why is Charlene being awkward about the RV they’re not locking her in there it’s literally a few days in a comfy bed.”
However, other fans believed they had figured out Charlene was reluctant to share the RV with Matt Hancock. One wrote: “The only reason Charlene is not sleeping in the RV is cos Matt Hancock is in there.” A second asked: “What is her problem with sleeping in the RV? Does she think Matt will pounce on her?”
